Luggage वाला Baggage?

या Baggage वाला Luggage?

या फिर किताबों वाला भार? कम करो यार। इससे पहले, ऐसी-सी सफाई कब हुई थी? 2008, वो ड्रीम USA फ्लाइट से पहले। 12th तक वाली वो NCERT वाली किताबें। वो 11th से M.Sc. तक की मोटी-मोटी, फैलाना-धमकाना, लेखकों वाली किताबें। और वो पीएचडी वाला ये पेपर, वो पेपर वाला कबाड़। तकरीबन-तकरीबन सब साफ कर दिआ था। इत्ते सालों इकट्टा करते जाओ, करते जाओ और फिर एक दिन जाने क्या सोच शुरू हो जाओ --तु भी निकल, तु भी निकल और तु भी। और एक-एक करके तकरीबन सब चलता कर दो। कितना हल्का-हल्का महसूस होता है ना? करके देखा है कभी? कभी-कभी, ऐसा कुछ भी होना चाहिए ना? 

वैसे तो सफाई अभियान मेरी आदत का अहम् हिस्सा है। इस या उस बहाने होता ही रहता है। मगर फिर भी कितना कुछ बचा कर रख लेते हैं हम। पिछले कुछ सालों से ये हाल फाइल्स का है। कितनी ही फाइल्स साफ़ हो चुकी। मगर कुछ फिर भी लाइन में लगी ही रह जाती हैं। फाइल्स के अलावा जो खास अबकी बार इस सफाई वाली लाइन में लगा है, वो है बायोटेक की किताबें। इस पेपर की किताबें, उस पेपर की किताबें। कुछ Basic, कुछ Advanced या New Additions। 2008 में इस teaching वाली joining के साथ ही शुरू हो गयी थी इकट्टा होना। आखिर इनका भी दिन आ ही गया, उसी पीछे वाले स्टोर में पहुँचने का। और भी बहुत-सी ऐसी किताबें, जो पिछले कई सालों में खरीदी, ये जानने के लिए या वो समझने के लिए। राजनीति, गुप्त सिस्टम (Cryptic System) या ऐसे ही कुछ आत्मकथाएँ (Autobiographies) या सामान्तर केस (Parallel cases)।  

तो बच क्या गया? वो जो अब पढ़ना या समझना या लिखना है। ऐसी कुछ किताबें, पिछले कुछ सालों में खरीदी जरूर, मगर कोई खास पढ़ी नहीं। VR, AR, IoT, AI -- थोड़ा कम्प्युटर, थोड़ा mixed technology, थोड़ा बहुत पत्रकारिता और थोड़ी भड़ास। इनके अलावा बच्चों की किताबें और एक छोटी-सी लाइब्रेरी बनाने की योजना।

ये क्या होता है? ये तो वैसे ही लाइन पार हो रखा है :) 

वैसे सोचा है की जिनके पास पढ़ने को कोई किताबें नहीं होती या जिस घर में ऐसा कुछ नहीं दिखता, वो घर और वहाँ के आदमी कैसे होते होंगे? हम जैसों को आदत हो जाती है ना की जहाँ जाओ, वहाँ ऐसा कुछ तो दिखेगा ही दिखेगा। कईयों के घर जाके तो चारों तरफ जैसे लाइब्रेरी-सा अनुभव होने लगे। शायद कुछ ऐसा अनुभव होने लगे की आप तो कुछ पढ़ते-लिखते ही ना हों? 

दुसरी तरफ एक ऐसा जहाँ, ऐसा लगने लगे की आप कुछ ज्यादा ही किताबों की दुनियाँ से घिरे रहते हैं। ये देखो, ये भी जीवन हैं, जहाँ किताबों से कोई नाता ही नहीं होता। तो क्या होता है वहाँ? 

किताबों का समृद्धि और शांति से कोई लेना-देना है क्या? शायद ?  

Two Years of Writing?

How was this year from that point of view?

This year was more than a writing year. It was the year, when I started shifting from university campus house to my home in village. Any shift takes time in adjustment. On that, when you don't know for how long you would be there. And what would be the next destination. My choice, since almost a decade is Europe. But leaving India, especially after corona pandemic seems a bit difficult task. Rather should say, I am nomore that much travel loving person as I used be earlier. Or probably, it's true about most people after corona? I have become suspicious of so many things. Just wanna have a base somewhere along with India and wanna write and write. 

Though first choice is Europe but things seem interesting elsewhere also. Writing, editing, journalism and science communication in the form of what they started calling story telling? And issues of importance are governance, system and impact on human beings. How media plays its role in that?  

To some extent, I have already started Social Case Studies. But unlike Campus Case Series, it's a bit difficult to write about them. These are not straight forward official documents that one can collect, analyze and convert into a case study book. I guess, I also need to learn how to hide people's and places identities, without loosing the essence of fact files. Some personal losses during this time period made me more determined to do whatever I am doing. It's important for common people, for any welfare society. Publications have been stopped for a while or should I say got delayed due to many factors. By next year, when I will be writing some post like this, hope I will have something better.
