Western or Eastern?
Different culture?
Much difference?
Or more or less economic and development stage difference?
Oppressed or liberated? Both have cons and pros just like anything else.
People who attack on the name of culture, tradition or so-called Eastern or Western culture/ disturbance, have nothing to do with all this. The truth is most of the attackers rarely understand these terms in true sense. What they truly understand is control either by hook or crook. Yes! Such people are control freak. When such people feel something is going out of their control, it is then that they attack. In true sense, these are insecure people. Their control as well as, impact can only be local, in their limited surrounding just like their enclosed minds. They need blind followers. They are not capable either to convince by their so-called intellect or take any legal route. Almost always, such suppressors are illegal kalakaars with manipulations! They believe in the short vision for short time-period just like their local effects.
I feel that to some extent this oppression period of ModiRaj is good for "the winds of change". It is good in the sense that common people like me probably never ever pondered over so many topics with such seriousness. It is in such oppressed times that people realize their true strengths and identities. Such times act as catalysts of change. That change will be good or bad depends on those who could stand up against such vicious forces. Herd behaviour, in general, follow the current but we were not born to follow.
